- Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium Curator (2002–2021) and Assistant Curator (1985–2002) in Brisbane, Australia. Presented planetarium programs and special live events; managed operations, media activities, major technical upgrades and new displays, including Skylore (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander astronomy). Retired 2021.
- Continued association with the planetarium field through the International Planetarium Society and the Australasian Planetarium Society. Australasian Planetarium Society: Treasurer (2003–2019, except during Presidency 2008–2012); represented the region at International Planetarium Society (IPS) Council meetings. Presently on the IPS Elections Committee.
- Fellow of the International Planetarium Society and Queensland Academy of Arts and Sciences. Adjunct Research Fellow, University of Southern Queensland. Involved with the establishment of the History of Australian Astronomy Chapter within the Astronomical Society of Australia in 2025.
- Awarded Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) "For service to science as an astronomy and astronautics educator" on Australia Day 2026.
