  • Kaye is a Professor of Biometry at The University of Queensland (UQ), undertaking teaching and research at the interface between statistics, quantitative genetics and plant breeding.

    Her previous appointments include President of UQ’s Academic Board and Head of the School of Land, Crop and Food Sciences, while she has also served as President of the International Biometric Society and the Statistical Society of Australia Incorporated.

    Kaye was awarded the Australian Medal for Agriculture and holds fellowships with the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering, Australian Institute of Company Directors, Australian Institute of Agricultural Science and Technology. and the Institute of Statisticians.

    She is a member of the Board of Trustees of the International Rice Research Institute and the Board of Directors of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering, The Crawford Fund, Grains Research Foundation Limited, and UQ’s Union College.
