Professor Robina Xavier, PhD, GAICD, is the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President (Education) at QUT and the former Executive Dean of the QUT Business School and Head of the School of Advertising, Marketing and Public Relations. Her portfolio includes QUT College and QUT Entrepreneurship. She has more than 25 years’ experience in academia and industry with specialist expertise in investor relations and crisis management. Prior to joining QUT, Robina worked as a consultant to both the private and public sectors in Australia, specialising in corporate and financial relations. She completed her masters’ research in investor relations and holds a PhD in crisis management. Robina sits on the EQUIS Committee for the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) in Brussels and is a former member of the International Accreditation Committee (IAC) for AACSB in Florida. She is a Director of Financial Services Institute of Australasia and Creative Enterprise Australia. Robina is a Senior Fellow of FINSIA, a Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Australia and a Fellow of the Queensland Academy of Arts and Sciences.
